Some more work on Sugar

- 2 minutes read - 235 wordsHere are some more test renders I’ve done for Sugar. First I created an advertisement for the beer similar to the ones you see in a typical restaurant. I used the GIMP and the fact that backgrounds in blender are transparent.
Not bad, eh? I did later fix the light color of the ads. It had to do with the materials settings I was using. By the way, do you notice that the ad is encased in plastic as in the restaurants? In some of these shots you’ll see how it distorts the image behind it.
Then I created a packet of sugar. This time I did the texture. (Although I have asked Pete to help me out with another one, so stay tuned for that. So I’ve learned how to do UV unwrapping to paint textures for my models! Yay! I also created that white box that holds the sugar.
Finally, I created sugar to fall out of the sugar packets! All of these images can be clicked to see a larger picture, but for this one you get a bonus! It’s 1280x1024 so if you have a monitor with the same resolution as mine (or a similar ratio) you can use it as a background! (I know I’m being a bit presumptuous with that, but it’s there if you want it) I have some work to do on the lighting, but not tonight.
