How did things go?

The Trio was contacted once again to do a job for the city. This time they had to go to Theology Channel for the parade of all the religions. Nitpick was given the task of setting up speakers, Vorza had to setup security bollards, and Jadeana had to do some of the organizing of the event. Vorza was suspicious and set up one of his bombs hidden in a jackfruit at a certain location. A little after the parade started, some mechanizers started shooting into the crowd and at the party. The group was unable to successfully disperse the crowd so they panicked and fled, trampling Jadaena during their escape. Eventually they were able to kill the attackers and, a short while later, anacite protectors arrived - having been sent to the wrong location. Investigations of the mechanizer comms paired with this information from the anacite protectors made the party much more suspicious.

While at Theology Channel they found a shrine to Professor Tierny, which was weird since anacites don’t really have death rituals. They found a set of keycaps along with a note there which had matching handwriting to the person who interacted with the elf at the club. They visited the temple where the keycaps were consecrated and learned a bit about the person who came in with them.

The group wnet to a local police station to report the attack. They used their usual subterfuge of pretending to be security consultants to get on the network. Nitpick was trying to figure out why the mechanizers were told to attack them and why the anacites were sent to the wrong location. It turns out that it was done by someone with root access who could clean up their records, but he did figure out the GPS networks had been hacked into.

The next day the party was then sent to a mall just outside the firewall to deal with wildlife infestation there. After dealing with the enemies they investigated the corpses of some folks who had been killed by the wildlife. They didn’t find out too much there, but they did continue feeling suspicious at their assignments.

They decided they would set up some surveillance on Central processing before heading in the Archive 404.

How is the mystery solving is going?

The group has almost all the pieces and they’re on the right track. Session 5 should lay it all out before them.

Conclusion after Session 4

I can’t wait until the next session. We’ll finally reach the climax of all the investigation.
