Our Game

How did things go?

The party started off by going to the vending area and buying some food and medical items. They also found a credstick used for unlimited food from the university’s cafeteria. They then went to the clinic and got some free mods.

Afterwards it was time to head to Club Magenta. The group realized they couldn’t get into the VIP area to see Vazylyza, whom they had a had a lead on as someone who’s spoken to Professor Tierny about First Ones relics. There Jaedana went to the small stakes tables to try and win enough money to play at the high stakes table to perhaps get a chance to impress Vazylyza. Jaedana did a great job and attracted the attention of Lucky Compilation of Numbers, who related that he lost his job after gambling away some First Ones relics in a game with Vazylyza. Eventually, Nitpick hacked the casino systems to make it seem like Jaedana had enough money for a bet at the large stakes table. There he won big and was admitted into the VIP area.

They met Enaria, an azrinaran elf socialite. From her they learn that creatures coming out of the Ice Well are messing up her ability to develop some nearby real estate also that some guy started a fight with Vazylyza when she tried to win a First Ones relic from Professor Tierny.

When they finally speak with Vazylyza they learn a few things: the stranger that hassled her didn’t show up on footage - sometimes it was scrambled and other times it was just missing. Also he left her a forgery of First Ones tech with a note that said sorry.

The team decides after that they will go home to rest and charge their weapons.

The next day they were called upon to do some work for the city. Nitpick had to work at the Central Archive, Jaedana had to do event planning (which went poorly), and Vorza had to pick some VIPs up from the spaceport. They also had a few emails - Vorza had one from the university HR about Eruco and another one from a buddy in his smuggling crew entreating him to be careful. Jaedana had one from her parents asking about how things were going. After this, the group tried to get into Archive 404. There they met Hesop and convinced him they were there to do a security audit. After some time he returned to asked them to leave, but as they were negotiating Nitpick was able to secure them access to the archives in 2 days.

How is the mystery solving is going?

I think they group might be pretty close to figuring things out. There’s a potential that by the end of session 03 they’ll be on the right track.

Conclusion after Session 3

I like to record our sessions. I can review it if I need to remember something, I share it with the party if they want to use it to remind themselves of various plot points, and also I might pull out some fun clips. Unfortunately, something went wrong last week and my audio didn’t get recorded. This made me extra sad because I had a BLAST roleplaying Enaria and Vazylyza.
