The Adventure

Since the team had been hired to look into the goblin situation in Trombei, they decided to meet up at the Horse’s Tails Tavern near The Brawls. As the team was eating a wizard walked in with a fire lizard on its shoulder. Scrabble invited him to join their group and they introduced each other.

As the team was talking to Unthar, the wizard, the captain of the guard came walking in with a Ravenfolk, Rikka the postmaster. Rikka had a job for the team. Rikka needed the mail to be delivered to Fern Wallow and their last mail carrier did not return. Rikka agreed to pay 5 silver each plus a bonus if the team found out what happened to the last mail carrier.

The team agreed and received a backpack’s worth of letters and packages. The team was instructed that when they get back to Trombei they should go to Rikka’s office in the Piazza del Onore. After Rikka left, the Captain of guard said they would like the adventurers to investigate rumors of Ogres in the area. The prize for this task was 10gp for each left ear from a dead ogre. Before heading out, the team went shopping to buy potions and healing kits.

The group headed off on the road. Scrabble asked if they wanted to look for the person first or deliver the mail first. The group decided to look for the person first. Scrabble looked for signs that the person went towards the water. The others found better tracks which went to the hamlet the mail needed to be delivered to anyway.

As the team was arriving at the peaceful halfling village a giant stone landed in the village. Hendrian and Scrabble went to talk to a halfling in front of the rock. The halfling revealed that a hill giant throws rocks at the hamlet if they don’t feed the giant. The team delievers the mail to Martha Highclover and finds out that John Harlow (mail carrier) was supposed to have headed back to Trombei.

After speaking with the villagers, the team decided to investigate the giant.
