Advent 2024 Dice Days 23-24
By EricMesa
- 2 minutes read - 408 wordsLet’s take a look at the latest die or dice from the Dice Envy Advent Calendar.
It’s the last 2 days of the calendar plus some images of all the sets together and some final thoughts on the Dice Envy Advent Calendar.
Day 23
With the infinity d4 for the Elsa-blue set, we have a complete Dice Envy set of 10 dice. (The usual 7 plus chonky d20, infinity d4, and lion d6). This raised the stakes for the final day. Would I get a full Dice Envy set for the glittery dice?
Day 24
While I did not get a full set of Dice Envy dice for the glittery set, I got something almost better. The final day was a set of Wee Lads dice from Dice Envy which are described on their site as fitting within a change pocket on a pair of jeans. These are roughly between 9mm and 13mm (depending on the die). They are SO CUTE and I am happy that I got them. Also, both of the twins noticed that they match the die I got on day 7 so that normal die could be considered the “chonky” to this set. I thought that was pretty hilarious.
Now let’s look at the sets put together and then I’ll give some final thoughts.

In that photo it’s a lot more obvious how much smaller the Wee Lads dice are.
Final Thoughts
I’m glad I got the advent calendar. It brought back a bit of the sense of wonder to Christmas that I haven’t had since I was a young kid. I had no idea what I was going to get and how many full sets I would end up with. Would I get the calendar again in 2025? On the one hand, I’ve discovered that I’m definitely a dice goblin like Ginny Di. I like beautiful and unique dice concepts. But I don’t need anymore dice. Additionally, during the Black Friday sale, a year of dice (120 dice) is about $90. This advent calendar was about $80 (after shipping and handling). So, I have to decide do I want better value or the fun of opening a die compartment every day in December? (or maybe don’t need anymore dice at all) Time will tell if I end up caving and buying it again.
