Gaming in February

Again, just a small blog post to document the video games I played with throughout the year to make it easier to do a recap at the end of the year.

Assassin’s Creed II (30 min) – I booted this sucker up to get some of the easy trophies I’d missed while playing the game like the Red Light District and Ivory and Ebony trophies. Reviewed it here

Assassin’s Creed: Brootherhood (30 min) – I wanted to see what the online gaming portion of this game was like. Discovered one of the things you give up when playing games long after they come out is that it’s harder to play online. It took a long time for the servers to find people to put into our games. The games were fun. It’s very hard to hide and act like an NPC and also kill people so it’s a fun challenge. Not fun enough to get me addicted, though. Previously reviewed here

Monkey Island 2: Special Edition
Monkey Island 2: Special Edition where I left off

Monkey Island 2: Special Edition (27 min) – I blogged about part one here. I started playing part 2. Overall, I think the interface is easier to use. So far I haven’t gotten far enough into it to get stuck or even get sucked in. All I know is that everyone wants a voodoo doll made of this guy who’s bullying people around.

Greed Corp
Greed Corp

Greed Corp (7 hours) – Previously reviewed it here Still loving it. Played multiplayer and got my butt handed to me. Right now I’m playing to get achievements. I’d LOVE to play online more, but there seems to be a dearth of other players.

Tetris (PSN) (9 hours plus?) – I reviewed Tetris in general (not the PSN version) here This version for the Playstation 3 is my favorite version on a modern console. Danielle and I have been having a great time playing together in regular (battle) mode as well as marathon – where you compete for fastest time and best score. It’s not in the raptr database, so I haven’t been able to track my hours.
